Enclosed is the USS Fulton First Day Cover. My late uncle served aboard the Fulton sometime between 1943 and 1946. I had located the FDC and presented it to him just months before he crossed the bar. He was proud of his time in the Navy and talked about serving on the Fulton. On his behalf, it is requested you post the FDC on the internet for all crew members to enjoy. As for the original, you may want to frame and display it at the reunions. I have enclosed twenty dollars for a two year honorary membership in my uncle’s name, William Patrick Halada.

It is the duty of all veterans, no matter the branch h of service to preserve military history and I am proud to do so for the USS Fulton, her crew and the United Sates Navy.
